This update is about three things that were quietly annoying and are now fixed: your preferences were scattered everywhere, notifications sometimes showed up twice, and you had to sign in before you could even look around. All three are sorted now.
Everything you can personalize, in one place
Before this update, your profile, your theme, your AI advisor setup, and your data tools were spread across several different menus and pop-ups, and some of those copies had quietly drifted out of sync with each other. Finding the right toggle meant remembering which page it lived on.
Now there is one Settings page, reachable from the account menu on every screen or from the Navigate menu. It is organized into four simple tabs so you are never looking at a wall of options:
- General, for your study goal, exam, coaching preferences, and appearance
- AI Advisor, for your API key, how the advisor reasons, and what data it is allowed to see
- Study, for how chapters count as complete and a quick word on reminders
- Data and Account, for exporting, backing up, restoring, wiping, and signing out
Everything that used to be duplicated across pages now lives in exactly one place, so it can never drift out of sync again.
Notifications that behave
If you had LairsFlow open on your phone and your laptop at the same time, a reminder or a milestone celebration could pop up on both, sometimes more than once on the same device after a refresh. Dismissing one on your phone did not always clear it from your laptop either.
Both of those are fixed. A reminder or celebration now fires exactly once, no matter how many tabs or devices you have open, and it will not come back after a refresh. Dismissing a notification on one device now clears it everywhere, the same way it always should have.
Look around before you sign in
Previously, opening LairsFlow without being signed in sent you straight to the landing page. That made it hard to just poke around and see what the app looks like before committing to an account.
Now you can browse every screen freely without signing in at all. Nothing is hidden behind a wall. The only place you will be asked to sign in is when you actually try to use something that genuinely needs an account, like chatting with the AI advisor, since that is tied to your own usage and history. Everything else works right away, and your data simply starts syncing the moment you do decide to sign in.
